If you choose to connect your Facebook or WhatsApp accounts to OrderBuddy, we access information strictly necessary to provide order management services.

  • Permissions: We request pages_messaging, pages_show_list, and pages_read_engagement to read and send messages on behalf of your Page, and to display your connected Page details in our dashboard.
  • Data Usage: We process customer messages to extract order details (like addresses and phone numbers) to automate your delivery workflow. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
  • Data Deletion: You can disconnect your social accounts at any time from your settings dashboard. Upon disconnection or account deletion, all associated access tokens and cached social data are securely purged from our systems.

5. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
